Slain boxer Vernon "The Viper" Forrest tweeted last Sunday about a nightmare in which he was robbed and shot:
Man I had a nightmare last nite I dreamt I come home and found 4 guys
were breaking into my house. I pull my heater and it was empty they chased me
and was about to shot me then I woke up. The first thing I did was get my heater
and made sure it was loaded. That dream will not come true.Unfortunately, he was wrong. Very wrong. Very eery.
I hate to hear about someone so positive losing their life to senseless violence, this man was making a difference not your common street thug.
ReplyDeleteIt is time the Black community took a real stand against the violence in our communities. Children need to be raised to think it is unthinkable to take the life of another Black person.
