Did Jaafar shock Blanket?

Conflicting media reports have Jermaine Jackson's 13-year-old son ordering a stun gun from the internet, having it delivered to the Hayvenhurst compound, and using it on Michael Jackson's youngest son, Blanket. Attorneys for the family say Jaafar used the weapon on a piece of paper and that Michael's sons never came anywhere near it; the attorneys say Prince was the only other one to see the weapon when police confiscated it. Social Services reportedly paid a visit to the home late Monday night to investigate. Unconfirmed reports say Prince, Paris, and Blanket might possibly be removed from the home and grandmother Katherine Jackson's care pending further investigation.

While I think it was incredibly foolish for Jermajesty to have ordered a dangerous weapon online and I wonder where he obtained the credit card information to do so, I am not certain removing Michael's children would be the best thing. Perhaps a better solution would be for Jermaine to take custody of and raise his own children with his current wife; I wonder why that has not occurred to them before...

Breaking News: LAPD completes it's investigation into Michael Jackson's death

The LAPD has completed its homicide investigation into Michael Jackson's untimely death on June 25, 2009. Various media reports indicate Michael's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, will be criminally charged in his death. The case will be presented to the Los Angeles County District Attorney as soon as a date becomes available. Once the DA hears the case, the case will be presented to a grand jury to determine whether or not to indict Dr. Murray and on what charges. He faces possible charges ranging from homicide to involuntary manslaughter, to criminal negligence for Jackson's death. By his own admission, Murray left Jackson unattended while under the administration of propofol, and Murray administered the propofol after a number of doses of benzodiazepiens and an initial dose of propofol earlier in the night; the propofol was administered outside of a hospital or clinic setting and without the proper monitoring equipment. Murray admits he left the room where Jackson was unconscious.

The doctor is in arrears with his child support and has not worked since Jackson's death. Murray has admitted to administering Propofol and various benzodiazepines at Michael Jackson's home without a pulseox monitor, a defibrillator, and other monitoring equipment as well as leaving Jackson alone while on the medication; Murray says he was only gone for a few minutes. Police investigators say he was gone for at least an hour while Jackson slipped into respiratory depression leading to an eventual cardiac arrest. Murray maintains he did not give Jackson "anything that should have killed him."
