That's what 23 QUADRILLION looks like. Across the country, several other Visa debit cardholders were charged that amount for everyday purchases. Oh yeah, and a $15 overcharge fee. The cards originated from Bank of America. Upon calling the bank customers claim that they were told to call Visa and Visa indicated they should call Bank of America.

In a statement, Visa said the rogue charges impacted “fewer than 13,000 prepaid transactions” and resulted from a “temporary programming error at Visa Debit Processing Services… (which) caused some transactions to be inaccurately posted to a small number of Visa prepaid accounts.”

What would have happened if that was a CREDIT?
