Someone please give this chick a glass of water. She is obviously thirsty. Why WHY? do I have to hear about some nonsense she has perpetrated with her equally thirsty industry "friends" every blessed week? The least she could do is have some uninspired, low-talent project to promote with all this shameless famewhoring.

Maggie and John Anderson of Chicago vow to only patronize black-owned businesses for one year. Now, the Andersons are following up with thousands who signed up for the experiment on their Web site to network, gauge their commitment and set up online accounts to track their spending. Hundreds have also joined the experiment's Facebook page, Maggie Anderson said. Could you make this pledge?

Soruces say Reggie Bush has gotten tired of drinking all that free milk and he and girlfriend of two years, Kim Kardashian, have called it quits. The breakup comes on the heels of their trip to South Africa this month. It appears their relationship could not survive the stress of actually doing something that wasn't self-serving.

The guys at the CPDRC in the Philippines are at it again. This time they are performing their rendition of Michael Jackson's "Dangerous." I for one LOVE these routines. It shows you how far reaching Michael's appeal was and just how many people he reached globally. Besides that, some of these guys really have talent. Be sure to pay attention at 1:58.
Other stars aren't feeling Solange's haircut either
Bow Wow says, “Man these chicks losin’ they mind, they all look like they goin’ through something. These chicks look… retarded wit this bald [stuff] man.”
Soulja Boy suggested Solange may have been trying to go for a look similar to Amber Rose — who’s known for her buzz cut as much as she is for dating Kanye West. He says, “Ladies, if you gonna shave ya head at least my barber Bobby world give you that tight hairline. Stop jockin’ Amber Rose. It’s not cute.”
And former Destiny’s Child member Latavia Roberts thinks Solange is just trying to stir up some heat. She says, “I don’t get the whole shaving your head thing. It’s not edgy, it’s attention-seeking. Believe me, I know.”
The problem is 2 of those 3 have their own problems with Twitter abuse and photo-assaulting their fans for shock value and desperate attention.

American Idol winner Kelly Clarkson's new single "Already Gone" has received some flak on the net as being a knockoff of Beyonce's hit single "Halo" because the two have the same melody. Kelly wants to set the record straight about why they sound so similar. She says she wrote the lyrics to her song before Beyonce even thought about making "Halo." Kelly's producer, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce the same track to record over after "Already Gone" was already completed.
Here's how Kelly put it:
“Ryan and I met each other at the record label, before he was working with anyone else...I’d never heard of a song called Halo..Her album came out when my album was already being printed. No one’s gonna be sittin’ at home, thinkin’ ‘Man, Ryan Tedder gave Beyonce and Kelly the same track to write to.’ No, they’re just gonna be sayin I ripped someone off. I called Ryan and said ‘I don’t understand. Why would you do that?’”
Kelly didn't want a standoff between their fans so she pleaded with her record company not to release "Already Gone" as a single since Beyonce's version had already hit the airwaves:
“in the end, they’re releasing it without my consent. It sucks, but it’s one of those things I have no control over. I already made my album. At this point, the record company can do whatever they want with it. It’s kind of a shitty situation, but…You know, you learn.”
Snitches say Beyonce heard Kelly's song and demanded the track for "Halo" then insisted her song be rushed out before Kelly's hit the airwaves. Sounds a lot like a real live "Dreamgirls" doesn't it?

Kid Cudi is going to be a movie star
Kid Cudi is going to be a movie star...well, not exactly movies--more like television. Kid Cudi will star in a new HBO series directed by Mark Wahlberg (you may know him as Marky Mark of Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch). Wahlberg also directed some episodes of the critically-acclaimed HBO series Entourage. Cudi will be credited as Scott Mescudi in the new series tentatively titled "Making It In America." He will NOT play a rapper.

Marc Antony threw a 45th 40th birthday party for his wife, Jennifer Lopez, on Saturday at New York's Edison Ballroom. Unfortunately, quite a few of the invited guests showed up late or not at all. Instead of revelling in the surprise and enjoying those who were there for her, rumor has it Jenny from the Block fumed about the perceived slight of those who failed to show up before her grand entrance. LA Times Reveals Drake's Record Deal
Under the unusually lucrative agreement he struck with Aspire/Young Money/Cash Money Records distributed through Universal, Drake received a $2-million advance. He retains the publishing rights to his songs and cedes only around 25% of his music sales revenues to the label as a “distribution fee,” his managers said. By contrast, the overwhelming majority of new artists sign financially restrictive “360 deals” that sap their touring and merchandise income and offer much more restrictive profit-sharing.
“The record company doesn’t have any ownership of Drake,” Cortez Bryant, Drake's manager, said. “The label does not have participation on profits. They don’t have ownership of his masters. We control his entire career. Those deals don’t happen anymore.”
There hasn’t been an upcoming artist with such a buzz since 50 Cent's debut in 2003. Drake has sold out concerts from his So Far So Gone Mixtape. The leading single “Best I Ever Had” has been receiving more then 1300 spins on radio, and has sold 600,000 digital downloads. He’s been featured on records with Jay-Z, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, Rihanna and Fabolous. He’s currently working on his debut album “ Thank Me Later” and will embark a 22-city tour starting today, July 27th in Scranton,PA with Weezy, Young Jeezy, and Soulja Boy in “Young Money Presents: America’s Most Wanted Music Festival”.
