Whitney Makes Return in London

For much of this decade Whitney Houston has been out of the spotlight, fighting to get her once charmed life back under control. But as she arrived in Britain last night it seemed the tide had finally turned for the soul singer. Gone was the gaunt and ravaged figure of recent years, replaced by a polished professional as she launched her new album at the upmarket Mandarin Oriental Hotel in London's Knightsbridge.
The record is her first studio performance for seven years. Tracks have already been leaked on the internet, where they have met with a mixed response, some saying her voice has been ruined. But music mogul Clive Davis, who discovered the soul diva 25 years ago, disagrees.'You won't forget it after you hear it,' he said on Good Morning America, calling the album a labour of love for all involved. 'She tumbled but she didn't crumble'. Her much anticipated new album (well, not so much by me), “I Look to You” is due out Sept. 1.

Michael has already canceled some concerts

If you have any money at all you should consider putting it on these concerts:
Michael Jackson has already cancelled his first 4 shows in London's O2 Arena. The first show was originally scheduled for July 8th but has been pushed back to the 13th. The other 3 shows have been postponed until March 2010.
The official reason for the delay is the elaborate stage. Jackson's people blame the close scheduling of Madonna's show at the arena and clame they don't have enough time to construct Jackson's sets. Unofficial rumors say Mike is too weak and out of shape to make it through an entire show with all the singing and dancing. I hope those rumors are false. These shows promise to be the greatest show on Earth.
