This is all too convenient

Essence.com is reporting a novel allegedly written by Michael Jackson himself is being shopped around to publishers. The novel contains illustrations conceptualized by Jackson and tells the story of a rock star at the pinnacle of his career who begins to obsess about death and becomes disillusioned with his fame and money. That plot line sounds eerily familiar doesn't it? It sounds like the image of Michael's life painted by the media in the wake of his death. I just find it awfully convenient a thinly-veiled memoir has suddenly surfaced and just happens to be completed. Perhaps I'm being cynical.

  1. This sounds like bullshit. I bet Jermaine wrote this book.

  2. I'm cynical too. This gets a side-eye for sure. Make sure the greasy one has nothing to do with it.

  3. I don't believe this. Why would Michael write a book like that? That would only hurt his image.

  5. I really think Toya and Jermaine cooked this shit up over a hazy weekend about 6 weeks ago. Michael would never write something like this.
