Michael Jackson knew how to spot a golddigger

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, one of Michael Jackson's former spiritual advisors has been making the media rounds for the past two weeks to promote his latest exploitative moneygrubbing book detailing conversations he had with Michael.

According to tapes he made of these conversations, Boteach said Michael held women in high regard but at the same time was very suspicious of their motives; Michael had encountered many women who used their womanly wiles to manipulate the men around them:

Jackson: "Women can do some things that make guys very unhappy. I see it with my brothers. I see my brothers crying in tears and pulling the grass out of the lawn out of frustration because of their wives."

Boteach: "Do you think all their wives were interested more in their success than in them?"

Jackson: "Absolutely. They were after their money. That's why I said to myself, 'I'll never be married.' I held out the longest. I stayed at home until I was 27, 28."

Boteach: "What was part of the attraction to Lisa Marie? That she had her own money? She had her own fame. You knew it wasn't about any of that."

Jackson: "Absolutely. She didn't take a penny, didn't want anything."

  1. These conversations would have just remained with me until my time was up. Nothing revealing or anything, but moments I just would not want to share. I know I would have been the kind of girl friend Michael would have wanted/needed. His money meant nothing. He, however, was everything.

    Love you Michael!!!!!!!!!!

  2. I think Lisa Marie really loved him. So did Brooke and Tatum. The problem with them is they couldn't hold him down long enough like I could. Michael would have had a sister/lover if he had chosen better. Not all women are goldiggers. There are plenty of women around the world who would have loved him for who he was not his money.

  8. Whether you loved or loathed Michael, most people would regard it as a basic human right to be able to speak freely, share one's innermost feelings about horrendous abuse, be rational or otherwise in a therapeutic setting without fear of being ridiculed or quoted out of context. 'The Michael Jackson Tapes' masquerades as a biography, but the voice you hear is clearly that of a man in therapy being prompted for reasons he was not aware of, into answering questions from Shmuley that have nothing to do with personal growth or healing. Michael did not intend these tapes to become public or he would have published them, and now when he cannot speak for himself, his most private thoughts and feelings are being flogged on the open market. Despite Shmuley's claims that this was a consensual effort with Michael, I am certain most people will recognize this book for what it is: - a shameless act of exploitative betrayal with staggering greed at its heart. If you want to listen to the tapes go to youtube or Facebook, this disgusting book has been uploaded. Just please don't buy it. We, have the power to refuse to be a part of 'enabling' Shmuley to profit from Michael's death. I am hoping there are enough people who still believe there is such a thing as common decency. Because what Shmuley has done amounts to nothing less than abuse.

It is important that people realize Oprah's Winfrey's company and syndicated network endorses a series of radio programmes hosted by Rabbi Shmuley. It is also important that people realize a worldwide boycott of 'The Michael Jackson Tapes' book and Shmuley's radio programme are now in effect. I am asking that all those who believe, as I do, that Shmuley - who has been roundly criticized by other Rabbi's for his gross contradiction of Judaic law in betraying Michael's confidence and trust has - according to the value system of his own failth and most people's definition of basic morality; excused himself from being perceived any longer as a serious theologian.

Worldwide Boycott of Shmuley needs your support.
