Where was the dancing?

Speaking of Chris, why wasn't he part of the memorial yesterday? Supposedly the Jackson family was hot for him to perform on the BET Awards and Michael, himself, greatly admired his dancing. Why didn't they put him on their own tribute?

  1. IMHO, I honestly don't think there was a place for dancing. The songs sung were all slow songs, it would've been kind of out place to do a fast jam.

  2. ...not only THAT, MJ hired about 678 dancers for the tour that now have to be laid off and were already on the memorial site....

  3. They did some montages with Michael's fast songs. If they wanted to "celebrate" instead of being a downer, they could have had some of his uptempo hits. Those were what made us get out of our seats and dance, not Heal the Flippin World.

  4. I don't think it was the appropriate time to do a dancce tribute at Michael's memorial. Everyone will have plenty of chances to get their jam on at the award shows left this year and in the future. I wanted Chris to be at the '09 BET awards too, but now I realize it's much too soon. The media would have focused more on Chris than the actual tribute if he performed. Some media outlets, like that asshole Bill O'Reilly, are already jealous Michael is getting so much love all over the globe they would have gladly used Chris domestic abuse charges to overshadow Michael's tribute and the BET awards.

  5. Chris should have been part of the memorial. Half of what Michael did was dancing. He was a showman. People should have paid tribute to his choreography as well as the songwriting and singing. I thought the memorial was lacking. There was so much down time.
