Prince's groundbreaking film Purple Rain turned 25 yesterday. Did you know Wendy and Lisa dated for 20 years? Did you know Vanity was supposed to play Prince's girlfriend in the film, but they broke up before filming started? He searched for another LSLH woman to replace her and offered the part to Jennifer Beals. Beals turned it down to focus on college, opening the door for Apollonia to rise to short-lived stardom.
