Deleting Archives

We proudly welcome all readers of PJWN (formerly Planet Jackson Worldwide News). We have begun deleting non Jackson Family related archives from this site. The archives are still active at PJWN's new site, pjwnews.blogspot.com If you would like to read or comment on one of PJWN's archived posts, please visit the new site; all comments on old PJWNews stories that do not cover Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, or the other Jacksons will be deleted when the post is deleted from this site.

so change your bookmarks and point your browsers on over there. The non-Jackson-related PJWN archives will remain on this site for 2 weeks, after which time they will be removed from here. The archives will continue to be available at the new site. This domain,planetjacksonworldwide.blogspot.com will become a blog for news about Michael Jackson and the Jackson Family. It will be linked with an entire fan community including photos, video, chat, forums, humanitarian information, and activism initiatives. Be sure to check out both sites! I'm aware of the problem

Some of you have contacted me to let me know Blogger has been eating up comments. Apparently, people are commenting then when they hit publish, the comment disappears even though Blogger says it has been published. I tested it myself this afternoon and the same thing happened. I have NO idea why this is happening. I will check the help forums and get back with you. Thanks for trying to comment and please don't give up.

PJWN has a new author

Happy Thanksgiving!

We here at Planet Jackson are taking the day off to be with our families. We wish you and yours a happy, healthy, safe holiday. This year has been a rollercoaster year for me. I uprooted my family to move several states away, underwent a career change, started this blog and witnessed two of my closest friends pass away suddenly several months apart. In between their passing, I had to suffer the untimely death of my absolute favorite artist, Michael Jackson. If you have been reading this blog for any length of time, you know I love the Jacksons--Michael, Janet, and the Jackson 5. Michael's death shook me to the core even moreso than the passing of people who I saw on a daily basis; I am still in mourning.

It might seem like I am listing a lot of negative things here, but I see them as positives. Each challenge I have faced, especially the passing of my friends, has taught me not to take anything for granted. I am thankful for even the smallest of pleasures: the sound of my children's laughter, the taste of a good meal, the sound of the rain, the sunshine on my face, the fragrance of a flower, each moment I have to spend with friends and family. I take time to see and to savor now. I tell everyone who is special to me how much I love them. I know now, each time might be the last. I take each day at a time. Most of all, I have come to realize what is important to me and which things are not worth worrying about. I have reaffirmed my true gratitude for everything life has to offer. Today, as you sit down with your loved ones (even if that just means you and your pets or houseplants), what are you thankful for?

I am having computer problems

Readers, I picked up a nasty computer trojan from visiting another well-known gossip site (which shall remain nameless). I am in the process of correcting the problem. Right now I am mobile posting and I hate it! I probably won't be able to post until this evening. Thank you to all of you who expressed your condolences and reached out to me via e-mail. I really appreciate the sentiments. My friend wouldn't want me to wallow, so I'm back online. I am still hurting, still sad, but I am trying to work through my grief. It is going to take me a LONG time to get over this loss...smiles and laughter do help, so I hope you get as much of a kick out of this blog as I do.
